Our chalet can accommodate up to 20 people. It is located in the village of Barèges, very close to the center, and offers a magnificent view of the mountains and the river. In winter, you can enjoy the ski resort (alpine and cross-country) and numerous trails for wonderful snowshoe walks, snowmobiling, or dog sledding. The village is also a thermal spa town.
You are at the foot of Pic du Midi, with its unique observatory, on the famous road to Col du Tourmalet, and close to remarkable sites such as Cirque de Gavarnie, the natural site of Néouvielle, Lourdes, and more.
A free shuttle to the ski resort is available near the chalet.

Barèges (in Gascony: Varètja) is a charming village located in the Occitanie region, in the Hautes-Pyrénées department of France. Nestled in the heart of the mountains at an altitude of approximately 1,250 meters, it offers an exceptional natural setting and is surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Pyrenees.
Barèges is primarily known as a popular mountain destination, both in summer and winter. In winter, it attracts many skiers due to its proximity to the Grand Tourmalet ski resort, the largest ski resort in the French Pyrenees. Winter sports enthusiasts will find a wide range of downhill and cross-country ski slopes, as well as off-piste opportunities for the more adventurous. The resort also offers ski schools, equipment rentals, and dedicated après-ski areas.
During the summer season, Barèges provides an ideal setting for nature lovers and hikers.
